Ryan Haley, broker and owner of Atlantic Shores Sotheby’s International Realty, shares a simple strategy that you can use to improve the effectiveness of your daily communication.
Ryan’s suggestion to real estate agents is to have cadence for calls and to adopt the 5-5-4 technique.
The 5-5-4 Strategy
At The Haley Group office, we practice the 5-5-4 technique. How does this work?
5 – Call or communicate with five people you know and trust on a daily basis.
5 – Talk to five people you don’t know. These may be people who may have a listing that will match up with what a buyer is looking for. These may also be past clients or people who know you.
4 – Follow-up calls on four people on a daily basis.
Do this strategy every single day, every workday. Try this for two months, three months, and even a year, until it becomes a habit. Just imagine what it will look like at the end of that period of time. Your business is going to grow and take off.
