A Little History About Our Three Day Weekend…..
What started as a way to celebrate George Washington’s birthday quickly became a holiday with celebration for all presidents and most importantly a three day weekend!
Presidents Day which was originally held on February 22nd George Washington’s actual day if birth in 1971, now Presidents Day was moved to the third Monday in February as part of the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which was an attempt to create more three day weekends for workers!
So Cheers to out great leaders, three day weekends, time with family, and most of all a little bit of fun!
